About Us

San Ramon Valley Fitnes, Inc. was founded in Northern California by me, Cori Ann Lentz.

I love educating and empowering everyone to lead an incredible life, full of health and happiness! I started as a client with a personal fitness trainer, over 14 years ago. I lost 80 lbs in under a year and fitness had such an impact on my life that I made it my career.

San Ramon Valley Fitness offers free online coaching, motivational support, and a team of coaches to help you transform your life. Live personal sessions may also be available in the northern California east San Francisco bay area.

We will help you transform your body and your life one day at a time.

Here’s a little more about me:

  • Favorite exercise(s):  Bad Kitty Sassy Fitness™ Classes, The Sports Barre®, Dead Lifts, Squats, Stairs, Jump Rope, Sprints, Pull Ups and Single Leg Balance Work.
  • Least favorite exercises:  Cardio in the gym!  Running on a treadmill is SO boring!
  • Favorite healthy food:  Grilled tilapia.
  • Favorite cheat food:  Dark chocolate covered caramel sprinkled with gray Mediterranean salt. Mmmm.
  • Greatest Fitness Accomplishment:  Giving birth naturally, running the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon in Alaska, and several triathlons.
  • Biggest fitness roadblocks:  Making time for my family, my work, and my own fitness.  Although, through balancing each of these, I have learned how to create more efficient, effective, and creative exercises for you and me!
  • Words to live by:  "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." ~ Jim Ryun

I have over 14 years in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, fitness manager, group exercise instructor, seminar presenter, coach, motivational speaker, and author.

I possess nationally accredited personal training certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

I also have additional specialty certificates in Optimum Performance Training for Youth (NASM), Advanced Program Design and Human Movement (NASM), Exercise for Special Populations (ACE), Stretching to Prevent IT Band Syndrome (AFAA), Pilates Matwork (ACE & AFAA), Schwinn® Indoor Cycling, Performance Nutrition, Advanced Dietary Support, Health Topics in Nutrition, Nutrition Myths and Fad Diets, and Breaking Body Composition Plateaus.

In addition to being the president, founder & CEO of San Ramon Valley Fitness, Inc., I am also the creator of Bad Kitty Sassy Fitness™, an extremely high energy cardiovascular workout that fuses the basic moves of dance, exhilarating aerobic movements and body sculpting elements to create a fun, edgy, sexy, and effective workout.

I am also the creator of The Sports Barre®, an athletic approach to barre fitness.

I am the co-author of the inspirational book, INCREDIBLE LIFE!

In the past, I created the Youth Speed Agility and Quickness Program for the town of Danville and Sycamore Valley Elementary School.

During my career, I found a passion for teaching group fitness in addition to competing in triathlons and marathons.

My core competency and passion is working with groups and individuals to improve their overall physical fitness and self esteem.

I enjoy being an active part of the community and has served as a committee member for the Acalanes School District Comprehensive Health Program in addition to being an independent health instructor for the town of Danville and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.

I am a guest speaker on Nutrition & Exercise for Soroptomist International, the National Charity League, The Bright Side of Life Life Inspirational Gathering Network, and several schools in the Danville area.

I divide my time between heading up exercise programs, instructing group exercise classes, and caring for her husband and her blended family of 3 children (and 3 dogs)!

I believe that learning to exercise properly provides the body with a relationship to the mind, allowing for a lifetime of a health and fitness.

Exercise enlightens the mind, toughens the body, and brightens the spirit. A balanced program includes cardiovascular activity, strength training, and flexibility. The overarching theme is to engage in activities you are passionate about.
